ABOUT Lynda McConn

Are you tired of the patterns in your life that keep you from feeling happy and secure? Are you looking for a place to heal old wounds and remedy current problems in a safe and non-judgmental environment? Everyone needs a safe and supportive place where one can unravel a problem or work through a difficult phase of life. Whether you are dealing with depression or anxiety, separation/divorce, or wounds from your past, we can work together to find a more fulfilling and satisfying life both within yourself and in your relationships, experiencing integration emotionally, bodily, and cognitively.

I have more than 30 years of therapy experience post-graduate school, am licensed in the State of Ohio*, and have completed the following post-graduate certifications:

  • Advanced Certification in Structural and Systemic Family/Marriage Therapy

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Training Level 2

  • Enneagram Personality System Training via The Narrative Enneagram (Helen Palmer & David Daniels)

  • NARM Master Therapist

Neuro Affective Relational Model (NARM) is a cutting-edge model focused on healing developmental trauma by working with the attachment patterns that cause lifelong psychobiological symptoms and interpersonal difficulties.  NARM uses mindfulness practice while exploring past cognitive, emotional, and physiological patterns, which helps re-regulating the central nervous system and enhance our connection to ourselves and others.  For more about NARM: https://narmtraining.com/what-is-narm/

The Enneagram Personality System is a tool to deepen compassion for self and others and expand psychological and spiritual understanding of self.  By understanding one's personality style, one can see the habits in how one sees and responds to the world and, with this increased consciousness, learn to expand one's perceptions and thoughtful responses.

I work with individuals, couples, and families.  Women's issues, maternal (emotional or physical) abandonment, affairs, divorce, relationship issues and loss, grief, anxiety, depression, developmental trauma, Complex PTSD, and parenting are specialty areas.

I work with clients both in-person and remotely, to best accommodate client needs.

* Pending legislation (late-2025) will allow me to work with clients in Kentucky, Tennesee, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, West Virginia, North Carolina, Wyoming, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, New Hampshire, and Maine.
